Practice Profile Adrian was a social worker and then a District Court Officer with Humberside Social Services Department before being called to the Bar. He was responsible for drafting that department's procedure manuals for Adoption and Custodianship.
Since his call to the Bar in 1989 he has practised predominantly in family law. He has spent the last six and a half years as an in-house advocate with a firm of solicitors specialising in Family law. He has represented local authorities and parents in care proceedings, parties in residence and contact disputes, ancillary relief and domestic violence cases. He was also involved in in-house training with the firm.
Between 1997-2001 Adrian has regularly acted as legal advisor to schools appeals panels and represented schools and parents at exclusion appeals.
Adrian is a member of the Inner Temple advocacy training team.

Additional Information Away from his work at the Bar he teaches Japanese archery and drafted the current constitutions for the United Kingdom Kyudo Association and the European Kyudo Federation. He was a consultant to the committee which drafted the constitution of the newly formed International Kyudo Federation.
