Nawazish Choudhury joined Chambers in October 2008 on completion of his pupilage during which he gained experience across a wide spectrum of civil and criminal work under the supervision of Jack Nicholls and Ivan Clarke.

He is developing a mixed common law practice including general civil litigation, contractual disputes, bankruptcy petitions, landlord and tenant, housing (possession and disrepair), personal injury and general crime. Before commencing pupillage Nawazish worked for six months in a firm of solicitors on immigration law (asylum, entry clearance, and judicial review) and appeared before the then Immigration Appellate Authority and Immigration Appeal Tribunal (2003 - 2004).

Thereafter, Nawazish worked pro bono as an intern with the Centre for Capital Punishment Studies in Trinidad and Tobago on capital punishment appeals to the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council (2004 - 2005).
