| Practice Profile Paul Addison is an experienced defence and prosecution advocate. He has been instructed in serious cases as a leading junior in both disciplines. He has been described as an “able and robust” advocate. He has specialised in fraud such as large scale banking fraud, credit card fraud and benefit fraud. His practice also includes Regulatory work concerning the Medicines Acts and associated European Directives. He is also briefed in a very wide variety of criminal law based matters.
He is on the CPS Special Casework List. He has lectured to the CPS, City of London Police and the Medicines Healthcare Regulatory Agency on “The Role of Prosecution Counsel” and “The Effectiveness of the Medicines Act 1968”, “High Tech Crime” and privately on PACE to solicitors.
Paul is qualified to accept instructions under the Bar Council Public Access Scheme.
