R v J & J: Imran is currently representing the practice manager of a dental surgery facing a matrix of frauds, requiring a detailed knowledge of NHS procedure and dental surgery.
R v R: He also represented the first accountant to be tried with offences under the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002. He successfully appealed against his convictions and secured acquittals following a retrial. The case involved £45m confiscation proceedings;
R v G: Imran is currently represented a defendant charged with offences of Cheating the Public Revenue and is instructed in impending confiscation proceedings
R v T: Imran was instructed in this multi-million pound credit card fraud allegation where the defendant was alleged to have been participating in a country-wide fraud on a number of high street banks
R v C: He represented a mail consolidator in the UK's largest ever mail consolidation/fulfillment fraud, successfully securing his acquittal; Regina v C: Southwark Crown Court.
R v S: He represented a defendant charged with attempt murder
Civil Cases
Imran acts for a variety of individual and corporate clients on a range of contractual and other issues. He has acted for Claimant and Defendant in construction cases, contractual disputes, personal injury and negligence cases as well as in trusts and probate cases. He also has extensive expertise in landlord and tenant and housing matters and employment cases. Imran also acts in cases against the police where Claimants have suffered malicious prosecution and false imprisonment.
He has a reputation as a seasoned court advocate with a portfolio of skills.
Imran is currently instructed as leading counsel in 2 civil cases concerning alleged fraudulent investment advice given by an accountant.

Ahmed -v- Butt & 5 others (Represented the claimant pursuing remedies in tresspass against 6 defendents claiming freehold ownership and alternatively irrevocable licenses.
Sandhu & Sandhu -v- Farooqi & Farooqi (Represented the claimant in possession proceedings where defendants counterclaimed adverse possession and specific performance of contract for sale.
Family: Re. L (Represented abducting parents in Chil abduction/Hague Convention proceedings.
