Biography

Tom began pupillage in October 2021, and has been on his feet since April 2022. He accepts instructions in each of  Chambers main practice areas and represents clients in the High Court, county courts and other tribunals particularly the property tribunals. He has undertaken a 5 day fact finding hearing in family proceedings, as well as shorter hearings across all areas of law. Tom also accepts instructions for drafting and advisory work. 

Prior to pupillage, Tom worked as a legal assistant in a large regional law firm specialising in personal injury litigation. He has a firm understanding of the day-to-day realities of legal practice, and the importance of fostering strong professional relationships.

Tom has also worked as an administrator in a GP surgery playing an active role in the Covid 19 vaccination rollout. He has great insight into working with vulnerable clients in difficult and emotional situations. Tom has a background in the performing arts having acted in and directed plays and musicals at amateur and professional level. He is a confident public speaker who appreciates the need to draw in and command an audience.
