Mediation/ ADR provides an opportunity for parties in conflict to resolve their dispute working with a trained third party. It is confidential and not legally binding until the parties wish to make it so. It is quicker, cheaper and less stressful than communicating through solicitors or across a court room. Additionally individual members of our Mediation and ADR Group are members of The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, Institution of Civil Engineers, Chartered Institution of Water & Environmental Management Society for the Environment and are listed on the Bar Council list of Barrister Mediators.
We are able to provide counsel to act as a mediator or arbitrator in disputes ranging from family matters to construction disputes. Additionally members are frequently instructed to act on behalf of one of the parties in mediation and ADR matters.
