Rebecca regularly prosecutes and defends in the Crown Court, and has conducted trials in cases involving a wide range of criminal offences. She also has experience of prosecuting and defending in POCA proceedings.
Rebecca is a Grade 3 CPS prosecutor and is on the CPS RASSO list.
Rebecca acts for local authorities, prosecuting cases involving allegations of fraud, money laundering, infringements of the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008, breaches of planning enforcement notices and contraventions of the Food Safety and Hygiene (England) Regulations 2013. She is also instructed in matters under the Licensing Act 2003.
R v. Recycled Materials Supplies  Env. L.R. 29 – For the Respondent in an appeal against convictions for contravening environmental permits. The case turned on whether the London Borough of Newham or the Environment Agency was the regulator and whether there should be dual regulation of a waste operation. (Led by Stephen Tromans QC in the Court of Appeal).
R (on the application of F) v. Lewisham LBC  P.T.S.R (C.S.) 13 – For one of the Respondents in a hearing to determine the correct procedure to be followed in judicial review proceedings in age assessment cases.

R v. JG (CPS) – sexual assault in a restaurant toilet (2018)

R v. SA (CPS) – sexual assaults at a leisure centre (2017)
R v. PV & JC (LB Bromley) – frauds on elderly women, several of whom came forward after an episode of Watchdog (2017)
R v. MA, XK and SS (CPS) - Possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence and attempted robbery (2017)
R v. RA (defence) – assault by penetration (2017)
R v. AJ (LB Bromley) - fraud and contravening the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008 in relation to the owner of a dance school (Trial - 2016. POCA – 2017).
R v. SK and others (Operation Barzini) (CPS - disclosure junior) – 12 defendants prosecuted for a variety of offences including rape, penetrative sexual activity with a child, arranging or facilitating child prostitution, and engaging in sexual activity in the presence of a child (2015- 2016).
R v. LR & JR (LB Bromley) - conspiracy to defraud in which an elderly man was inveigled into gifting his house to cold-callers (2016).
