Biography

Peter has a bi-lingual French and English practice assisting clients and professionals in issues arising between France and the United Kingdom and also internationally.

 He is a fellow of the European Law Institute in Vienna, a member of the Chancery Bar Association, the French Institut des Avocats et Conseils Fiscaux and the Revenue Bar Association.

His experience of forty-five years in international practice and his expertise is unparalleled in many areas beside Tax.

His English practice is primarily an advisory capacity in Revenue, Probate, Chancery or Commercial issues in England, and assists English clients in French legal and fiscal issues in areas of property law, succession, and the treatment of trusts. He also assists European clients in equivalent British issues over matrimonial property regimes and civil law property arrangements such as usufructs, additionally those in the Norman Crown Dependencies. He also has expertise in Stamp Duty Land Tax and ToLATA for non domiciliaries.
