During her pupillage so far, Katherine has been supervised by Trisan Hyatt and Chris Payne. Under Chris Payne, she has seen a range of civil work, including housing disrepair matters and land law disputes.
Before coming to the Bar, Katherine had a successful career in management consultancy, specialising in business transformation and strategy for real estate clients. Clients appreciated her ability to assimilate large volumes of complex information under time pressure, and her consideration of competing commercial demands when advising them.
After Katherine’s Bar Course, she spent two years working as a Paralegal in the Major Injury and Casualty team at a leading law firm. As part of this role, she was seconded for 12 months to a Local Authority in their Insurance team. There, she dealt with high value and sensitive claims and potential claims, across the full spectrum of civil law, mitigating exposure and risk to the Local Authority.
