Injunctions / Domestic Abuse

Our family team are experienced at obtaining interim injunctions where there is a requirement for the urgent intervention of a court. They are also able to defend injunction applications when they return before the court. Our barristers are experts in the law and procedure for injunction applications and are able to accept instructions on short notice, quickly assimilate the relevant facts and effectively represent clients.

We have particular expertise in dealing with applications where there are allegations of domestic abuse, for example for non-molestation orders and occupation orders. We are trusted by our clients to explain the law and process and to protect their interests. Many of our clients are under huge pressure and concerned about the best way forward. We advocate strongly for them, and work hard to protect their interests.

We represent clients in a wide range of other injunctions, for example to prevent a child from being removed from the jurisdiction. We are usually able to act out of hours, and pride ourselves on the quality of service we are able to provide even on very short notice.
