Assistant Practice Managers (up to 2 roles)
Due to continued growth, and high levels of work, we are looking for up to two Assistant Practice Managers (one to cover a parental leave vacancy in the first instance). We are a progressive, diverse multidisciplinary set and are looking for candidates who are organised and energetic who can be a part of our continued success.
Our ideal candidates will have at least two years’ experience of clerking across any of our areas of practice: civil, criminal and family law. You will work closely with our Practice Managers, including covering for them when they are away from Chambers. This position would be ideal for someone who is looking to step up from a junior clerking role and take on greater responsibility.
We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate the following:
- A proven track record in clerking, particularly diary management;
- Good organisational and time-management skills and the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines;
- The ability to build effective working relationships with clients and members, and to work well in a small staff team;
- Enthusiasm for business development, and ideally some experience of participating in marketing events;
- Good spoken and written communication skills.
In addition, we expect the successful applicant to have IT skills such as Word, Outlook, and Excel (we work on LEX but can provide training on that platform).
